Serpentine Yellow Jade

Serpentine may be confused with jadeite or nephrite because of its similar coloration, and is sometimes known as ‘Koren jade’, ‘serpentine jade’, or ‘new jade’. Serpentine, however, is softer and scratches more easily than true jade, but it is often used as a jade substitute. Serpentine is significantly softer than jade and also has a much lower specific gravity.

Serpentine clears the heart chakra, meaning that it can improve all energy related to your relationships and interactions with others. It is especially well paired with stones that relate to the throat chakra, like turquoise since that is the chakra that rules communication, which goes hand-in-hand with relationships.
